Caravaggio was born in 2015 by Fabio and Vittorio, respectively guitarist (as well as author and arranger) and vocalist of the band, after the closure of the Adramelch project. After various vicissitudes, not least the stop caused by Covid, in 2022 their debut album finally comes out, which sees the lineup completed by Alessio Del Ben on drums and Marco Melloni on bass, as well as some illustrious guests such as Courtney Swain, the incredible voice of the Americans Bent Knee and Antonio Zambrini, Milanese jazz musician on flute… In the album one of the elements that attracts the most attention is the presence of instruments that we could define as unorthodox for Rock. In fact, we hear parts of percussion, bouzouki, mandolin and a constant presence of the accordion, an instrument that gives a decidedly personal color to the sound of the band that in fact defines itself as Mediterranean Prog Rock. The American site Progrock.com awarded it the title of best Italian album of 2022 and named Guernica second best international song. The live performances were greeted by the audience with great enthusiasm. The band is working on new material today and we are sure that they will arrive at the concert with some important surprises…
